Temporary Assignment | 12 - 18 Months | St. Louis, MO | Onsite
Coolest Gig in Town!
We are in the design stage for an upcoming client engagement and would love to dialogue with you if you feel you're up to the challenges (and rewards) the "coolest gig in town" will bring.
The engagement is highly visible, large scale and long-term (estimate between 12 - 18 months) and hence, requires an experienced Program Manager to ensure deliverables are nailed - on time and on budget. (Heck, let's shoot for earlier than expected and under budget!)
The Program Manager will reside within the User-Centered Design team and will play a critical role on one of our client's most highly-visible and important field-facing projects. (Cool to know you could be part of something big, eh?)
To give you a taste of what you'd be doing:
The program consists of multiple parallel work streams to redesign chunks of an application suite. Each of these work streams includes interaction design and user research work utilizing an Agile delivery mechanism. The work streams are inter-related. You would be responsible for ensuring delivery of all user-centered design artifacts and commitments.
*Understand the status of deliverables for each work stream.
*Oversee 2-4 designers.
*Provide consistency in product vision and user experience across all platforms and processes.
*Enable the UX/UI Design and the UX Development team members to work efficiently and quickly in their individual product team and across the program.
*Partner with Product Owners, Program Leads and Stakeholders to collectively make decisions on product development and oversee execution.
*Attend all core team and stakeholder meetings to represent each work stream.
*Communicate to each work stream team the project issues, scope and information that comes from the core team and stakeholder meetings.
*Prepare weekly status materials for each work stream in preparation for project status meetings.
*Manage all aspects of UX design delivery end to end.
Basically, be the Chuck Norris of all PM's and be able to demonstrate your ability to execute the responsibilities listed above.
*Direct experience managing design projects.
*Agile experience with an understanding of, and experience with Agile framework (scrum).
*Experience using Microsoft Project and SharePoint helpful.
*Experience program managing large, high visibility initiatives, in a large corporate environment.
